Using TetherKing
How does it work?
You hit the ball. It tethers around the pole, recoils, and comes back to you in about three seconds. Then you hit it again.
How fast does the ball come back?
About three seconds after a clean hit. Hit it harder and it tethers more and returns faster.
Can a switch-hitter use it?
Yes. Step to the other side and send it back the other way. It works in both directions.
What's the difference between the models?
Start with how it's used. The Junior Portable and Advanced Portable stand on a weighted base you can move around the yard. The Pro Sleeve System sets into the ground, and its sleeve fits any 3" diameter pole. The Junior assembly has no pole at all: a partner swings it overhead for the batter. Between the two portables, the difference is the latex tube: a 25" red tube for ages 6–10 on the Junior, a 32" blue tube for ages 10–14 on the Advanced.
How heavy is the base?
The Junior and Advanced use a commercial sign base: 29 lb empty and 175 lb filled, 22" × 22" × 22". It comes pre-filled with water, gel or sand.
How long does setup take?
About ten minutes for the portable systems: the pole drops into the base and you tighten the bolts. In the Phoenix metro we set it up for you.
How does the Pro Sleeve work?
A hole is dug where you want it, the sleeve goes into the ground, and the pole drops into the sleeve. When you're done, lift the pole out and cap the hole so the yard can be mowed. The sleeve fits any 3" diameter pole.
Can I buy just the ball assembly?
Yes. The Junior assembly is the cord, latex tube and ball on their own. It has no pole or base and doesn't mount to one: a partner swings it overhead for the batter. It ships anywhere. For one that mounts to a pole, the Pro Sleeve System sets into the ground, and its sleeve fits any 3" diameter pole.

Delivery and setup are free anywhere in the Phoenix metropolitan area, out to Queen Creek and Cave Creek. Outside the metro, contact us for a shipping quote.
What happens after I order?
After checkout you're taken to our booking calendar to choose your delivery and setup slot.
What if it isn't for us?
You have 60 days from delivery. If the product is in fair condition, MantisPro pays the return shipping and you choose a replacement unit or a refund.
